Can anybody recommend an effective leather protectant? We have just received a new Range Rover with a Perlino inside. I was considering a ceramic coating for the leather, but I have heard that it may change its texture, which I want to avoid. I would appreciate any input about the application of ceramic coating on leather, including the specific product used. Any guidance is much appreciated!

Continuing this discussion. Additionally seeking a means of safeguarding the perlino inside.

I am seeking a location to purchase this set in the United States. Are you aware of any locations for purchase in the United States?

Thank you.

This establishment ships to the United States (a legitimate and respectable company; I have purchased several detailing products from them): Colourlock Smooth Leather Mild Cleaning and Conditioning Set. The aforementioned link from eirik34 pertains to "aniline" leather and explicitly states that it should not be used for semi-aniline leather. The one I provided here is suitable for semi-aniline.

I have just seen that these individuals also provide it; they are located in Pennsylvania. Colourlock Smooth Leather Care Kit | Cleaner and Protector

Another endorsement for Colourlock! I have experimented with other brands, but this stuff is undoubtedly better.

Avoid reliance on any product that purports to cleanse and protect. It performs one function or the other, but not both. Which shampoo would you let to remain in your hair? None since it is a cleaner.Formulated to eliminate oils and grime, it is ineffective for protection. A conditioner or crème rinse is specifically formulated for protection and revitalization. Each has a function; the same applies to leather upkeep. Always purchase a two-part system.

I specialize in the repair, restoration, and reconditioning of leather, plastic, and vinyl materials as a profession.

Thank you everybody for your contributions. I will examine all of them to get a final choice. Out of interest, what do you use to clean the rear portion of the front seats? Typically where children scuff and wipe their soiled footwear
