Are the bonnet hinges on the F22 adjustable?

Greetings

I am unfamiliar with this site. I own a 2016 M240 and would want to inquire whether the bonnet hinges are adjustable.

I understand that you may modify the bolts connected to the bonnet; what about the hinges on the side that are attached to the body?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Greetings

Thank you so much for this. I have previously seen it. However, my bonnet is positioned somewhat upward at the junction where it joins the A-frame near the door.

Is the hinge movable to reduce the gap on one side? It is quite irritating.

Oh, intriguing. Are you certain that your fenders are correctly calibrated? I have not before had such problem.

A photograph may be required. I am unable to conceptualize the issue. Are you referring to high in terms of elevation from the ground or high in relation to its proximity to the windshield?

I apologize for not articulating it clearly. The bonnet seems to be misaligned, with the passenger side elevated relative to the driver’s side, where the gap at the windshield is acceptable; nonetheless, the junction between the bonnet and wing is not flush.

I understand now. The nuts on the bonnet hinges allow for little lateral adjustment. If it is insufficient, adjust your fenders by releasing the nuts on the top section. I will provide a video illustrating my point, since some bolts are concealed behind the cowling.

I will review the video shortly.

I was contemplating if loosening the bolts from the hinge to the bonnet might result in a modest elevation or descent on the affected side, maybe raising the side that is not flush to improve alignment (if that is clear).

However, for the remainder of the hinge, no measures can be taken to address this issue.
