Concerning the Coupe

I seek an upgrade from my mediocre 2018 Cadillac CT6 Platinum Edition. I am particularly enamored with the aesthetics of the GLE Coupe; however, I am concerned about replacing my commendable Bose Panaray sound system with the base Burmester system featuring Dolby Atmos. Is this an advancement or a regression? This aspect is crucial for me. Additionally, it is peculiar that this coupe does not offer at least an optional superior Burmester system, especially as it is marketed in my country (Kuwait) as a trendy and sophisticated sporty SUV. I am also considering the Cayenne Coupe as an alternative solely because it includes the high-end 3D Burmester sound system. I recognize this may seem superficial, but it is a dealbreaker, as I intend to purchase the best possible overall vehicle of my life.

The basic Burmester will likely disappoint you.
You would likely be dissatisfied with the Cayenne's 'upgraded' Bose system.
Both may be described as 'mediocre.'

I had the 3D Burmester system in my 2020 450, and the audio quality was outstanding. The timing alignment was particularly remarkable.

My foremost regret with my '21 53 is that I hesitated to exceed $100,000. Significant error.

I assume there are commendable aftermarket sound systems available for subsequent installation; nevertheless, I now lack a trustworthy technician.

I believe the Burmester is still available in the 63s model.

I did not see the time alignment in the Cayenne 3D Burmester as very successful; however, I may not have located the appropriate menu option, and this assessment was made three years ago, so it is possible that improvements have occurred since then.

In either scenario, get the Acoustic Comfort package, referred to as insulated glass by Porsche.

This is my second GLE53. In the last two years, I relinquished the first item in exchange after the service center twice assured me that everything was functioning well. Subsequently, I encountered the uninspiring and monotonous GLE 350, which disappointed me. I returned to the GLE53 and once again detected the clanking sounds.

I am used to this clanking, and I only perceive it in comfort mode; in sport and sport plus modes, I seldom notice it or choose to ignore it.

The clanking is preoccupying my spouse; thus, I would appreciate a comment if someone resolves this issue or if MB provides formal clarification on the clanking

Why not get the coupe and enhance it with an aftermarket sound system to achieve the ultimate vehicle experience? If the audio system is a "deal-breaker," you will pursue several vehicles with a "desirable sound system," only to discover that they do not align with your actual preferences. If you really adore the GLE coupe, then get it. If the system sounds subpar, then improve it! Only unadulterated grins ensued from that moment on.

I entirely concur, unless one is unaware and have total faith in an installation.
I estimate the cost will range from $2,000 to $5,000 to do it properly, including room cabin and phase compensation.
Perhaps someone could provide the current cost.
I am contemplating a system update in light of my choice to retain or sell my 2021 model when its warranty expires next March.

If you are selling and obtaining a newer model of the GLE, would you not have the same dilemma? Has the Burmester system undergone significant modifications that will result in a noticeable impact? In my perspective, one may either invest $2,000 to $5,000 or $100,000, together with an extra $2,000 to $5,000. Do you see my point? This is a simple decision for me.
