Q:

Has anyone noticed salvage car prices changing recently?

I’m seeing some cars selling for more than I expected, especially vehicles with minor damage. Is this just temporary, or are salvage car prices generally going up?

Same experience here. I’m waiting for a better deal rather than overpaying just because the car looks cheap initially.

Repair costs have gone up too, so I think buyers are being more careful about what they bid.

I usually compare recent auction prices before bidding. Sometimes a salvage car isn’t much cheaper than a clean used one.

It also depends heavily on the make and model. Some popular models still get very competitive bidding.

I think demand is a big factor. More people are looking at salvage cars because regular used car prices are still high.

I’ve noticed the same thing. Clean-looking cars with minor damage seem to be getting more expensive at auctions.
