Looking at a salvage Honda Civic. The seller claims it was a “minor theft recovery,” but I suspect a crash. Can anyone verify the original auction photos?

I checked the VIN; that car was actually sold at Copart with “Side Impact” damage, not theft. Definitely ask the seller for the pre-repair photos before buying.
